As AI adoption accelerates in both personal and professional settings, clinicians are leveraging its potential to enhance patient care, streamline workflows, and improve outcomes. Meanwhile, patients who have already integrated AI into other aspects of their lives are increasingly turning to GenAI for self-diagnosis and treatment, supplementing or even substituting traditional healthcare engagement. This session explores the intersection of clinician and patient AI adoption through five key lenses:
· Attention: How clinicians and patients are noticing and responding to AI's potential in healthcare.
· Association: Imageries and imaginations of how AI might show up in healthcare.
· Anxiety: Highlighting concerns and fears surrounding AI adoption in healthcare.
· Adoption: The practical applications and implications of AI in clinical practice and patient self-care.
· Anticipation: What the future holds for AI in healthcare, and how clinicians and patients can prepare.
