Lilian Yew

Chief Nurse Raffles Hospital, Singapore

Ms Lilian Yew has more than 30 years of nursing experience in both public and private healthcare organisations. Armed with both a degree and master’s in Health Sciences from SIM-The University of Sydney in the early 2000s, Lilian is now serving as the Raffles Hospital Chief Nurse to provide strategic directions to all her nursing discipline. Lilian had led her team to receive numerous successful hospital accreditations such as American Nurses Credentialing Centre (ANCC) re-accreditation Provider with Distinction twice, Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) Premier Award and BFHI Re-accreditation in Year 2022. Being a life-long learner, she also graduated from the Master’s in Education Programme in July 2023.

Besides hospital work, she volunteered her time on the Board of Singapore Nurses Association (SNA). Since Mar 2023, she has been elected as the Vice President, where she will serve for the next 3 years. In May 2023, she emerged as one of the Top 10 finalists for the Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award and she also received the “Chief Nurse of the Year” Gold Winner award from the Hospital Management Asia in September 2023.
