Dr Jasper W.K. Tong is the Chief Allied Health Professional (CAHP) at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Dy Grp CAHP (Practice Innovation & Transformation), SingHealth Group Allied Health and Clinical Director, SingHealth Office for Innovation (SHOFI). Passionate about innovating health services delivery and Industry 4.0 transformation, Dr Tong has been instrumental in transforming allied health care delivery to be seamless and accessible. Engendering the vision to build a vibrant innovative culture, he inaugurated the Allied Health Innovation Challenge in 2021 which saw an encouraging submission of 115 projects. Building on this momentum, the Allied Health Catalyst programme was implemented in 2024 to create impactful solutions for real world deployment. He is also co-leading the strategic pillar of co-development and test bedding within the SingHealth-Duke-NUS Academic Medicine Innovation Institute. At SHOFI, he focuses on strengthening the cluster innovation ecosystem and enablers, nurturing a robust innovation culture and working with the innovator community to foster greater collaboration and catalysis of impactful ideas.
